Since the beginning of 2026, I have been gradually developing a project here in Berlin. I thought I would use this newsletter to share a little about how it began and where it currently stands.

The project has been present in my thoughts since 2015–2016, following the death of my father, when I suddenly found myself entrusted with the responsibility of his extensive photographic archive, alongside many other responsibilities. Earlier this year, thanks to Art Lab Berlin, I was offered access to their space for a period of one month, where I could begin exploring and testing ideas that had accompanied me for some time. Having a dedicated environment to work in allowed the project to take its first concrete steps and opened a period of experimentation, research, and development. I am very grateful to Art Lab Berlin for this opportunity.

Since then, I have been gradually shaping the direction of the work while documenting parts of the process through Instagram. Although the project is still at an early stage, it already feels like an important continuation of questions and themes that have remained present throughout my practice.

In parallel, I recently submitted a funding application that would allow me to continue developing the project further. I am currently waiting to hear about the outcome.

Like many artistic projects, its path forward depends not only on ideas and intentions, but also on finding the conditions that make sustained work possible. Alongside this project, I have continued applying for exhibitions, collaborations, production opportunities, and local initiatives, while working to establish a stronger foundation for the next phase of my practice.

While the pace of the project has shifted in recent weeks, the work remains very much alive. Some periods are devoted to making, while others are devoted to creating the conditions that allow the making to continue.

I look forward to sharing more as the project evolves and takes on clearer form.
