It Takes A Few Trials Sometimes! is a project which includes three artworks as well as three NFT audiovisuals that are available on NFT Showroom.

The NFT audiovisuals show the process of making the three artworks. They are made of footage I took since the first day I started burning incense sticks in 2021, which led me to creating artworks with the matchsticks I used.

Burning away the past, and trying to push through the difficult present state of our world while opening up a path to a better future on a clean blank page.

On a later stage I complemented the footage with audio tracks I created where I tried to deliver the same message from my act of burning away the past, pushing through the present and looking forward to the future. The mediums used in this audiovisual project support and complement each other simultaneously.

I used to burn incense before but without setting any intention to the act. Intention is an important asset to have and set within one-self.

A matchstick is fuel. You agitate it, first it creates a sparks and then there’s fire. It burns itself, but it can also be used to light up a candle or a torch therefore it lights up everything around it. An incense stick helps pushing through difficulties.
